Hey there! Long time no see! That's right: I am finally back from the dead (or to be more precise: the sleep-deprived study hermits). The last two months I had to focus on writing my graduate thesis and passing my final exams in order to finish law school, and..... now I have!
I can't tell you how relieved I am to finally reach the finish line on this one, although now I will need to figure out what I am going to do with the rest of my life, which is a rather daunting prospect. But for now I am just enjoying my newly obtained freedom and going to do stuff that I didn't have time for the last few months, such as blogging again! Until now I did not even realise how much I actually missed that.
So what have I been up to lately? Not much, to be honest (didn't really have the time). As you might have heard (or noticed) we experienced quite the heat wave in Europe. It was nice for a day or two, but with the abundance of water it always get humid as hell here in the Netherlands, and living in the bayous is not really my cup of tea... even more so because such high temperatures are quite unusual here, so A/Cs are few and far between. Especially Vashti and Taiyo had a hard time of it, and providing them with wet towels and frozen bottles of water to lie on can only do so much.... So, to be honest, I am kind of glad the hot weather is over for now.

Last Tuesday I went to the Dutch premiere of Rio, Eu Te Amo, the third instalment of the Cities of Love movie franchise, after Paris, Je T'Aime in 2006 and New York, I Love You in 2009. It was also the official launch of the the newest Cities of Love film project and urban movement: Rotterdam, I Love You. On the digital platform of Rotterdam, I Love You, I am going to write about what Rotterdam has to offer when it comes to fashion. You can check out my first post here.
For now I wish you a great weekend and I'll be back next Monday (I promise)!
