Happy Day! Today was the first engagement of Kate since the Royal Tour Down Under a month ago, visiting the Stathearn Community Campus, the MacRosty Park and the Famous Grouse Distillery in Crieff, Scotland, together with William. For the day, Kate wore a new coat, the gorgeous coral and red striped 'Athena' from Scottish designer Jonathan Saunders ($ 2,555). (Click here for my post with replikates for Jonathan Saunders' sweater). Beneath it was a coral coloured dress from Goat, believed to be the 'Scarlett pleat front' dress (£ 450).
And of course I couldn't resist looking for great replikates for this outfit!

Dress: Ebay / Bag: Modalu England / Shoes: Dune / Earrings: Palm Beach / Necklace: Tudorshoppe on Etsy It's now raining again (how predictable), but a few days ago it was finally summer dress weather. Of course that was the perfect opportunity for me to don my Lucky dress replikate I got on ebay last year (unfortunately no longer available) and my new Imperia D wedges, which are quickly becoming my favourite summer shoes! Also I got new hair! (Well not 'new' of course, but you know, different looking :-P), so it's a bit shorter and a bit more mahogany. What do you guys think of it? Sorry for being a bit quiet last week. I booked a short trip to Sicily in early July, but finding that perfect little Italian hotel is actually more difficult than it sounds :-P Good news is I'll have the opportunity again to showcase more replikate summer outfits! And to practise my Italian..... Arrivederci, everyone!
My shoes used to pile up in my hallway, which neither looked tidy, nor benefited their longevity. It was time for a change, my shoes deserved better! My hallway is way too small for a big fancy shoe closet, so I decided to put one in my study, because that room is closest to my front door. I didn't want to spend too much on it though, so I did another (tiny) Ikea hack, giving a good old Billy book case a small facelift.... What I used: 1 white Billy book case $ 59.99 1 white Billy height extension unit $ 20.00 2 white Billy Olsbo doors $ 100.00 2 white small Billy Olsbo doors $ 40.00 6 glass Billy shelves $ 60.00 4 Faglavik door knobs (2 packs) $ 9.98 4 Grundtal spotlights (2 packs) $ 49.98 Total $ 339.95 I am so happy with the result! The case ensures my shoes stay clean and organised and, you know... it just looks pretty darn cool! ;-)
Coat: Tatiana's Delights on Etsy / Pumps: Lauren Ralph Lauren / Bag: Modalu England Earrings: Designs By Noa on Etsy / Brooch: Ebay I would almost say I'm sad the weather is getting better, because that means my awesome new Black Watch tartan coat will be too warm to wear..... .... Just kidding! I am absolutely looking forward to summer :D The statue is of the Dutch admiral and privateer Piet Hein, who was born in Delfshaven (now part of Rotterdam), where I live (pictures were taken in front of my house). P.S: T.G.I.F!
During my 'shop holiday' I had some time to add a few new items to the Tatiana's Delights Etsy shop, including a replikate of Kate's double-breasted red coat from the Royal Tour Down Under and the iconic cream suit that Kate wore during the christening of Prince George! Keep an eye on the Tatiana's Delights Etsy shop, because the next two weeks several more new items will be added as well!
I've always loved a great gingham check. It's so classic, simple and elegant! But Kate wearing her gingham shirt from Gap during the Royal Tour has made me extra gingham-crazy for this summer, so here are some of my favourite finds of this moment!
